TERMS OF SERVICE

The rules of using Pablo. Shorter and more readable than most.

Last updated: September 7, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Pablo (the "Service") — the game at pablogame.net and our iOS and Android apps. By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or older if your country sets a higher age for consenting to online services. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. YOUR ACCOUNT

You can play as a guest without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

One person, one account. Don't create accounts to evade a suspension, to manipulate the leaderboard, or to abuse referral rewards.

Your display name is visible to other players. Names that are offensive, impersonate someone else, or are designed to harass may be changed or removed.

3. FAIR PLAY

You agree not to:

  • Use cheats, bots, automation, modified clients, or any tool that gives you an unfair advantage
  • Attempt to read, intercept or reconstruct game information you aren't meant to see, such as other players' face-down cards
  • Exploit bugs rather than reporting them — if you find one, tell us
  • Collude with other players to manipulate outcomes, leaderboards, or the chip economy
  • Interfere with, overload, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law expressly allows it
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
  • Use the Service for anything unlawful

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and where cheating has affected the chip economy we may reverse the chips involved.

4. VIRTUAL CHIPS AND ITEMS

This section matters, so it's stated plainly:

  • Chips, card packs, card backs, table designs and other virtual items have no monetary value.
  • They cannot be cashed out, withdrawn, redeemed for money, or exchanged for anything of real-world value.
  • They cannot be transferred, sold, or traded between players or to third parties.
  • You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them within the Service. You do not own them.
  • They may be modified, rebalanced or discontinued as the game develops.
  • If your account is closed — by you or by us — any remaining virtual items are forfeited without compensation.

Pablo is a game of skill played with virtual chips. It is not gambling: no real money can be won, and no chip balance can ever be converted back into money.

5. PURCHASES

Purchases on the website are processed by Stripe. Purchases inside our iOS and Android apps are processed by Apple and Google, and are also subject to those companies' own terms.

Prices are shown before you buy and may change over time; a change never affects a purchase you've already completed. You're responsible for any applicable taxes not included in the displayed price.

Refunds. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are governed by those stores' refund policies and must be requested from Apple or Google — we're not able to process them. For purchases made on the website, contact us. Beyond any refund rights the law gives you, virtual items are generally non-refundable once delivered.

6. PABLO PRO SUBSCRIPTION

Pablo Pro is an optional recurring subscription that removes ads, doubles the chips paid out on a win, and gives your name a gold highlight. It does not affect the cards you're dealt or the rules of play.

  • It renews automatically each period until cancelled.
  • Cancel on the website from the Pro panel in the game; cancel an iOS subscription through Apple's Manage Subscriptions screen; cancel an Android subscription through Google Play.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. Your benefits continue until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • If a payment fails, Pro benefits may be suspended until payment succeeds.

7. ADVERTISING

The Service is funded in part by advertising shown to players without an active Pro subscription. We don't control the content of third-party ads and aren't responsible for advertisers' products, services or sites. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out of personalisation.

8. OUR CONTENT

The Service — its code, artwork, sounds, design and the Pablo name — is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You get a personal, non-commercial, revocable licence to play. You may not copy, redistribute, host, or make derivative works from it without our written permission.

Anything you submit to us, such as a bug report or feature suggestion, may be used to improve the Service without obligation or compensation.

9. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

We work to keep the Service running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including modes, features and virtual items, at any time.

Online play depends on your internet connection. If you disconnect mid-game, a bot may take over your seat so the other players aren't stranded, and the game's result will stand.

10. TERMINATION

You may stop using the Service at any time and can ask us to delete your account via the contact form.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if it's needed to protect the Service or other players, or if we're legally required to. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why.

11. DISCLAIMERS

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or virtual items, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms as the game develops. The "last updated" date will change, and for material changes we'll give notice in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. GENERAL

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.

15. CONTACT

Questions about these Terms go through the contact form.
